OUR STORY

Our family has been involved with poultry farming since 1945. We prefer to raise our birds the old-fashioned way on pasture.   Bill and Jean Joyce decided to leave the city behind soon after the second world war and purchased a run down poultry farm at Aspley.  They quickly turned that farm into a success and purchased a larger farm at Moggill before finally settling down at Richlands.  They stayed farming there until one of their sons Rob took over and in 2022 the Richalnds farm was sold and they have moved to two farms in the Scenic Rim at Harrisville and Kalbar.  We breed, hatch and raise all of our Joyce’s Gold chickens, ducks and guinea fowl and buy in as day old chicks our regular meat chickens and raise them from day one.
